Adding a new recipient
To make global payments to the people you need to, you'll need to add their bank details to the Verto platform.
How to add a new recipient
Log in to the Verto platform.
Select the Customer Hub icon on the left hand sidebar.
Select the "Beneficiary" drop down menu. If you're adding your own company's account, or an owner of the company's account, (or a company in the same group), select My Accounts. If you're adding someone else's account, or another company's account, select My Recipients.
Select Add Bank Account.
Choose the currency of the bank account which you are adding, and choose the Beneficiary Type:
A company: another company's bank account
An individual: another individual's bank account
My organisation: your own company's bank account
Then, if applicable, choose the Payment Method:
Local Bank: choose if the bank account is in the domestic country of the currency, e.g. a GBP account located in the UK.
The payment will be sent via local payment rails (much faster than international rails, also known as SWIFT).
International Bank Transfer: choose if the bank account is not in the domestic country of the currency, e.g. a USD account located in China.
The payment will be sent via international payment rails i.e. SWIFT. Payments generally take longer to arrive when sent via this payment method.
Enter the recipient's bank account details. The bank name and address will be automatically filled in when the BIC (e.g. sort code, or SWIFT code), is entered.
You will now be sent a one-time password (OTP) to your registered phone number. Enter the OTP, and select Add Account.
If you don't have access to this phone number, or the OTP doesn't arrive, you can also receive the OTP to your email address, through WhatsApp, or through a phone call.
Your recipient is now added! You can now make a payment to this beneficiary.
