Opening local and global accounts

Local and global accounts are account details in your company's name. They can be used to receive payments from your customers.

Local accounts are used to receive payments via local payment rails (e.g. Faster Payments in the UK, ACH/Fedwire in the US). Global accounts are used to receive payments via SWIFT (international payment network).

How to open local and global accounts.

Step 1

Log in to the Verto platform.

Step 2

Click the "Collect & Hold" icon below on the left hand side, as indicated in the screenshot.

Step 3

Click "Accounts" in the "Collect & Hold" section.

Step 4

Click the green "Get account details" button on the right hand side.

Step 5

Choose the currencies for which you want global and local accounts. If you don't see the currency you want to get account details for, then you may not have a wallet in that currency.

Check this by going back to step 4, and clicking "Add Wallet" instead of "Get Account Details". You will see the currencies which we offer.

If you still can't find the currency you want details in, then we may not offer account details in that currency. To find out which currencies we offer global and local accounts in, click here.

Click "Done" once you've chosen the currencies for which you want global and local accounts for, and your account will be opened.

Step 6

To find your local and global accounts, click "Local" or "Global", as indicated in the screenshot below, depending on whether you have a local or global account in that currency (learn more about which currencies we offer local accounts and global accounts in here).

Click the currency which you want to view the details for. The "IBAN" icon indicates that there are details available for this currency.

Step 7

Click the "Bank Account Details" tab, and you will see your account details.
