Making a payment from your local ZAR account

You can make international payments from your local ZAR account, converting into 19 other currencies and sending money to recipients all around the world.

Step 1

Log in to the Verto platform.

Step 2

Hover over the left hand sidebar and click the Exchange option.

Step 3

Under the Exchange now heading, click Send money.

Step 4

Choose ZAR under the heading I want to send. Choose the currency you would like the beneficiary to receive (ensure it's on this list).

Enter the amount which you would like to send, and click Continue.

Note: funds must be in your account before making payment.

Step 5

Choose the bank account which you want to send the money to. If you haven't already added a recipient, click Add recipient.

Ensure you choose a purpose of payment, and upload a supporting document*.

*This is mandatory for payments out of South Africa. Find invoice requirements here.

Click Send to bank account. The money should reflect in the recipient's account within 2-3 working days.

Important information

  • You can only book trades between the hours of 09:00 - 18:00 SAST

  • Funds must be sent directly to an external bank account (not in your company's name).

  • You can not move money between your ZAR wallets or any other wallet you hold with Verto
