Opening local and global accounts
Local and global accounts are account details in your company's name. They can be used to receive payments from your customers.
Local accounts are used to receive payments via local payment rails (e.g. Faster Payments in the UK, ACH/Fedwire in the US). Global accounts are used to receive payments via SWIFT (international payment network).
How to open local and global accounts
Step 1
Log in to the Verto platform.
Step 2
Hover over the left hand sidebar and click Wallets.
Step 3
Click the currency in which you want the unique account details in your company's name from the list on the right hand side.
Step 4
Click the Get account details button under the Bank Details section.
Step 5
Your account details will be generated!
If there are Local account details shown, (as in the second screenshot below), you can use these to receive the currency via the local payment rails in the country (e.g. Faster Payments in the UK for GBP, SEPA in the SEPA region/Europe for EUR).
If there are Global account details shown, (as in the second screenshot below), you can use these to receive the currency via SWIFT.
