Multi-Entity Feature: Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Multi-Entity feature?

The Multi-Entity feature enables users to access and manage multiple business accounts from a single login. Instead of having a different email and password for each business, you can use one set of credentials and easily switch between entities within the app.

Who is this feature for?

This feature is designed for companies that operate in different countries and therefore need more than one business entity. It helps businesses, like a holding company with multiple subsidiaries worldwide, to manage all their affiliated entities from one Verto login.

How does it work?

When you log in with your existing Verto email and password, you will see a selection screen listing all the entities you have access to. After you choose one, you will be taken to that business’s dashboard. A clear indicator on the sidebar menu will always show you which entity you are currently using.

Can I switch between entities after I've logged in?

Yes. There is a simple "switcher" element in the sidebar menu that lets you move between entities at any time without logging out and back in. When you switch, the system immediately updates all data to reflect the new entity.

Who links the entities together?

You can reach out to our team to link your accounts. Admins can also map and un-map entities as part of the same group through an extended admin portal.

What happens to my user permissions?

When entities are linked, your permissions for the new entity are automatically inherited from your original entity. The company's permissions are the final limiting factor, so you will only have access to features if that specific entity is allowed to use them.

What happens if an entity is unlinked?

If an admin removes your access to an entity, you will no longer be able to log in to it. If this happens while you are logged in, the system will give you an immediate error notification and prompt you to reselect a different entity or log in again.
