Creating an account on the mobile app allows you to go through a Lite onboarding process that allows businesses in Nigeria to access Verto without the burden of submitting any physical document.
Here are the steps required:

You will go through this flow if you select the registered business option while creating the account.
Enter your business information
RC/BN number
This is the registration number provided by CAC (Corporate Affairs Commission) when you register your business in Nigeria and it is added to the Nigerian corporate registry
Business address
This is your current business address. To save you the stress of typing and verifying, we retrieve your business address from the CAC registry for you. You are required to update or confirm your current business address.
Business description
Tell us a little bit about your business. This will help us understand your business better.
Enter your shareholder information (you must be confirmed as a shareholder on CAC)
Provide your BVN and NIN
We need your BVN and NIN for identification purposes as required by regulation. BVN stands for Bank verification number and NIN stands for National identification number.
Personal address
Update or confirm your current business address. The business address is retrieved from your BVN or NIN.
Facial verification
To confirm that you are a real person and it is you, who is going through the verification process, we need to see your face and match it with existing information from your country’s registry.
If you’re representing a shareholder, please provide the details of this shareholder and share the link for facial verification with them.
Once you finish, we will let you know the status of your account verification.
Starter business [NG - unregistered business]
Lite onboarding allows businesses in Nigeria to access Verto without owning a registered business (an RC/BN number). You will go through this flow if you select the starter business option while creating the account.
