How do I receive payments?

If you have a Global/Local account, you can receive payments from third-party businesses (e.g. your customers) to your unique IBAN/account details in that currency by following the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Verto FX platform.

  2. On the sidebar on the left hand side of the screen, click 'Accounts and wallets'.

  3. Either click 'Global', 'Local' depending on whether you want to pay into a local account or a global account.

  4. Click the currency which you wish to pay in.

  5. Click “Bank Account Details” at the top of the page, next to the “Transactions” tab.

  6. Click “Global” or “Local” depending on whether you want to receive a global or local payment (you may only have “Global” as an option).

  7. Have the funds to these bank account details. A transaction reference will automatically be generated within VertoFX when we detect the funds in your account. You don’t need to include a reference if you are transferring funds to a local/global account.

If you do not have a Global Account in this currency, you can top up your wallet from a bank account in the name of the ultimate beneficial owner or your company by following the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Verto FX platform.

  2. On the sidebar on the left hand side of the screen, click 'Accounts and wallets'.

  3. Click ‘Wallets’.

  4. Click the currency which you wish to pay in.

  5. Click 'Add Money'.

  6. Enter the amount, select the purpose of payment and upload any supporting documents (this can help speed up the payment).

  7. Select from where the funds are being received from the dropdown menu..

  8. Enter the bank account details of where the funds are being received.

  9. Send the money to the bank account details listed from your bank account. Ensure that the correct reference number is entered on the transfer.

  10. Click 'I have transferred'.

  11. Wait for funds to be received by Verto. When funds are received by Verto, we will credit the account/wallet with the amount sent.
