Why have funds arrived short to my Global Account
Updated over a week ago

When you receive payments into your Verto Global Account via International Payment (SWIFT/Fedwire) the payments often have to pass through a number of intermediary/corresponding banks.

During this process, these banks have the ability to charge a fee and will deduct this from the incoming payment - which can explain why funds come in short.

Some sending banks will offer you the ability to choose how you send payments, and who has the charges.

If you want to ensure full funds are received into your global account, make sure the sender specifies they want to charges to be OUR, rather than SHARED.
