Where you can use your Verto card to pay
You can pay with your Verto card in most places where debit cards are accepted. If you, however, are planning on taking your card abroad, check the countries where you won’t be able to use it.
Your card won’t work in these countries:
Afghanistan, Belarus, Burundi, Central African Republic, Congo (Brazzaville), Crimea, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Guinea Bissau, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Myanmar, North Korea, Russia, Somalia Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, Ukraine (all regions), Venezuela, Yemen, Zimbabwe
Online payments
You can use your Verto card to make online payments, too. For some online payments using an OTP sent by SMS. This is called 3D Secure (3DS), an added level of security some websites ask for. Once you approve, your payment will go through as normal. If you are not receiving OTP on your card, reach out to support@vertofx.com and we will resolve it for you.
Cash withdrawals
You can also withdraw cash from most ATMs — except the countries specified above. If you don’t know of any ATM near you, just use the Mastercard ATM locator to find one.
Note that some ATMs may charge a third party fee. Always review the fees you see on the screen before withdrawing your cash.
